Takao Takemura (武村 高雄, Takemura Takao) is a human and the general manager of Nadeshiko Matsudaira's Yōkai Strategic Department.
Appearance[]
Takao is a bald tan-skinned man with a black goatee.
His uniform consist of a black trenchcoat over his long-sleeved dress shirt and he is often seen wearing his sunglasses.
Personality[]
History[]
After the activation of the Zero-gou, Takao was responsible for bringing yōkai children to the Senate for checkups. Along the way he somehow managed to cause Ao Nanami to cry. Lucy Rang Miraclouse arrived and cheered Ao up by creating her a hat before chastising Takao for making her cry. Lucy criticized his sunglasses which he had custom made.
Takao, along with the rest of Nadeshiko Matsudaira's police force, helped Shidou Mizuki to raise Mina Tatebayashi and Kana Tatebayashi after their parents died.

Etymology[]
- The name Takao means "tall, high" (高) (taka) and "hero, manly" (雄) (o).
- Takao's surname Takemura means "military, martial" (武) (take) and "town, village" (村) (mura).
Trivia[]
- Takao, Nadeshiko Matsudaira and Tokui makes a brief cameo during the credit sequence of the final episode of Hana no Uta along with Rokkaku, Iruka Kujouin and Murasaki Iyo.
