Etymology[]
- The name Murasaki means "purple, violet" (紫).
- Murasaki's surname Iyo means "that one" (伊) (i) and "beforehand, previous, myself, I, preliminary" (予) (yo).

- Murasaki makes a brief cameo during the credit sequence of the final episode of Hana no Uta along with members of Police force, Rokkaku and Iruka Kujouin.
