Kujira Kujouin (九条院 鯨, Kujōin Kujira) is the father of Iruka Kujouin.
Appearance[]
Kujira appears as a man with slicked back hair and he is usually seen in a suit.

History[]
When Kujira was young, he was trained in Sakurashinmachi by Yae Shinatsuhiko in the ways of swordsmanship.
Plot[]
Kujira arrives with Jiiya to Hime Yarizakura's residence. He thanks Hime for taking care of his daughter and helping her experience the outside world. Kujira offers to pay for Iruka Kujouin's living expenses, but Hime refuses since Iruka promised she would pay it back herself. Iruka's father agrees but instead gives a truck of fruits and vegetables he had grown himself and tells Hime that he will make a delivery every week for them.
Etymology[]
- The name Kujira means "whale" (鯨).
- Kujira's surname Kujouin means "nine" (九) (ku), "article" (条) (jo) and "hospital" (院) (in).
