Ao Nanami (七海 アオ, Nanami Ao) is one of the main characters in the Yozakura Quartet series. She is a satori yōkai, a resident of Sakurashinmachi and the younger sister of Gin Nanami who works at the Hiizumi Life Counseling Office.
Appearance

Ao is a short light-skinned girl with short blue chin-length hair that has two "antennas" resembling cat ear atop her head, blue eyes and she has a thin build.
Ao often wears a black hat toque that shapes around her cat ears. When not wanting to stand out as a youkai she wears a black Alice band to conceal her hears.
She is usually seen in summer clothes, a dark sleeveless minidress with a white collar and blue buttons with dark colored boots.
Her winter clothes consist of a white long-sleeved minidress with a blue collar and white boots.

- Mind Reading: Being a Satori, Ao can read minds of humans and animals.
- Mind Interference (精神干渉, Seishin kanshō): Ao is capable of telepathically interfering on a basic level, enough to stun Enjin for a short amount of time.

Etymology
- Ao's surname Nanami means "seven" (七) (nana) and "sea, ocean" (海) (mi).
Appearances in Other Media
- Ao appears in Bushiroad's mobile trading card game Triple MonsterS as part of Yozakura Quartet event which took place between September 26, 2018 to October 10, 2018. Ao can be obtained as a card as part of an arena reward during the event. The artwork for her is from the poster which came with the DVD/Blu-ray of Hana no Uta volume 2.
